Key Responsibilities

Lead control panel design, including detailed layouts, power distribution, and component selection.

Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs using AutoCAD Electrical.

Program PLC-based control systems and develop HMI applications.

Design and implement control strategies for automation hardware.

Troubleshoot and resolve control system and panel issues.

Act as the lead electrical person on various projects, selecting contractors, setting schedules and budgets, and ensuring safe, quality installation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

3+ years of relevant experience in controls engineering.

PLC & HMI programming capabilities required; experience with 480Vac 3‑phase circuits highly preferred.

Experience in an industrial setting with electrical controls.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.

Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation products.

Experience with industrial networking protocols.

Minimum Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.

Proficiency with personal computers: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, AutoCAD; Rockwell software.

Ability to perform safely and efficiently in a time‑sensitive environment.

Ability to travel up to 35%.

Preferences

Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution.
