Position Manufacturing Technician I

This entry‑level role supports the manufacturing and market delivery of key consumable components for our novel life‑science instrument platform. You will work under the guidance of engineers and scientists to bring consumables to market.

Essential Duties

Perform chemistry, QC, and mechanical processes on consumable components in a clean‑room environment.

Support mechanical assembly, kitting, labeling, and packaging of consumable components and final products.

Assist in building consumables for production and R&D purposes under engineer guidance.

Adhere to production schedules to meet delivery targets.

Follow work instructions and execute batch records for consumable components.

Perform routine lab maintenance (cleaning, kanban organization, etc.) to maintain a clean manufacturing environment.

Follow SOPs and quality control policies, including equipment maintenance and consumable dispositions.

Support internal teams with development experiments and related duties as needed.

Lift up to 20 lb for approximately 15% of the working day.

Use both hands for gripping, pinching, turning, and reaching above shoulder height.

Comply with personal protective equipment requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to follow standard procedures and enter data on a web‑based batch record system.

Detail oriented with strong communication skills and multitasking ability.

Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous working experience in consumable assembly, kitting, and packaging.

Experience in an ISO/CGMP manufacturing environment.

Ability to use manual, multi‑channel, and/or electronic pipettes.

Compensation Competitive total compensation packages, including base pay, benefits, and equity. In California, the estimated base salary range for this position is $24.00–$28.00 per hour. Pay is determined by location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education.
