Overview
A private investment firm with over ~$50B AUM is looking to add a Private Credit Associate to the Direct Lending team in Chicago, IL. The firm provides first lien, unitranche, second lien and mezzanine debt, in addition to equity co-investments, secondary solutions and private equity fund commitments. The Private Credit Associate will be responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, structuring and executing private investments, and managing new and existing portfolio investments within the credit platform. Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related financial discipline with an outstanding record of academic achievement 2-4+ years of investment banking (leveraged finance/M&A/financial sponsors/restructuring) or buyside private credit investing experience Experience working with financial sponsors is a plus Strong analytical and modeling skills and excellent attention to detail Passion for private credit investing Compensation
