Base pay range $160,000 – $180,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities
Perform, review, comment, and approve engineering documentation and structural analysis for SCR gas duct systems.
Gather, interpret, and integrate design requirements from customers, suppliers, and corporate stakeholders.
Prepare and review engineering technical requirements and material estimates to support project proposals and bid strategies.
Engage in technical conversations with customers on behalf of the Civil/Structural Team to address project needs and deliver expert guidance.
Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Quality Controls, Construction Services, Project Management, and other Engineering Teams to prioritize and resolve SCR system issues.
Enhance structural design standards for equipment skid base designs and pipe support systems.
Coordinate with third‑party consultants for outsourcing when required.
Work closely with steel manufacturers to support production processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
Prepare and review budgets, bids, technical requirements, and commercial requirements.
Lead periodic reviews of the civil/structural team's execution schedule and escalated critical needs, reporting on technical delivery status.
Train designated engineers in structural analysis, calculation reports, and sound engineering judgment.
Manage workload related to SCR system scope, communicating proactively with the team manager to balance assignments.
Ensure arrangement and foundation interface information meets requirements.
Interface with internal and external teams to ensure accurate design interface information for the SCR system.

Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Civil Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required; minimum 20 years of relevant experience, including SCR systems and high‑temperature ductwork design for power plants and boiler applications.
Strong familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI, API, AWS, ANSI, ASME, ASTM, OSHA, and industry standards; familiarity with DIN 4024 and ISO 1940 is a plus.
Travel up to 10%, including occasional overseas trips as needed.
Software Experience Desired
Smart Plant 3D, Tekla, Revit – familiarity with integrated 3D design and technical detail extraction.
STAAD.Pro – proficiency required; SAP2000 and GT STRUDL – experience is a plus.
AutoCAD, MicroStation – familiarity with 2D CAD drafting tools.
