Job Description Our Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for selling reverse mortgages and adhering to company and lending guidelines. You will advise customers on obtaining a reverse mortgage loan, perform duties in accordance with company policies and U.S. laws and regulations. Target pay range: $17.31/hr plus a monthly incentive plan.
What You’ll Do
Discuss reverse mortgage options for loans with prospective and current customers.
Manage the reverse mortgage loan process according to current legal and company guidelines and applicable federal, state and local regulations.
Follow up with prospective clients regarding documents that were submitted for review, analyze credit reports, income documents and further research as required.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of FHA HECM product to provide the highest level of service and consistent communication to educate and inform borrowers throughout the process.
Ensure loans comply with Carrington guidelines, applicable state and federal regulations, and lending requirements.
What You’ll Need
Knowledge of FHA HECM products.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the mortgage industry; 3-5 years of FHA HECM experience preferred.
Current Mortgage Loan Originator License through NMLS.
Industry-specific software knowledge preferred (Lead management systems such as Leads 360, DU, LP, Appraisal Management Software).
Ability to follow CMS Mortgage Lending loan protocols.
