As an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer, you will support development and manufacturing activities of focal plane array (FPA) assemblies, provide design and technical guidance, and lead in‑process inspection and manufacturing troubleshooting in a cleanroom environment. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Lead and work with technical staff in design, manufacturing, and technical guidance of FPAs. Analyze designs for validity. Conduct and oversee in‑process inspections and analyses, comparing results versus specifications. Assemble and manufacture assemblies. Contribute to manufacturing troubleshooting, equipment repair, and hardware rework. Document and support failure/root‑cause analyses for non‑conformities. Perform precision alignment, die attachment, and CMM measurements. Follow work instructions and travelers for all assemblies. Qualifications And Competencies

Thorough understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and optical measurements used in manufacturing. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for TIS management and customers. Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office products and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Displays exemplary ethics, business practices, and teamwork. Works under the umbrella of company policies and procedures, especially all safety protocols. Education And/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with three (3) plus years of experience, working as a manufacturing assembly engineer or with similar skills such as precision alignment, mounting, thermal cycling, CMM. Citizenship Requirements

$72,600.00 – $96,800.00 Pay Transparency

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
