Summary A leading U.S. litigation practice is seeking an associate with strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical/medical device Rule 702/Daubert motions. This mid-level role is open to candidates licensed to practice in New York.
Responsibilities
Drafting and reviewing discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda, including Rule 702/Daubert challenges
Communicating with clients and coordinating with experts
Assisting with fact development and depositions
Helping develop case strategy
Supervising junior associates
Qualifications
JD from a nationally recognized law school
Admitted to practice in New York
3+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm
Extensive experience with Rule 702/Daubert motions
Experience in products liability litigation; pharmaceutical or medical device experience preferred
Strong analytical, writing, organizational, and project management skills
Work Environment
Hybrid role with regular in-office presence and flexibility for remote work
Fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused environment
Compensation
Expected salary range: $250,000–$370,000, depending on experience and market factors
