PAY RANGE The target pay range for this position is $152,300.00-$186,100.00 annually. The full pay range is $118,200.00 - $220,200.00 annually. Compensation decisions are determined using relevant factors such as job-related skills, experience, and training. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Impact You’ll Make As a Sr. Product Manager – Collection Operations Strategy and Systems, you’ll lead the charge in refining BECU’s collections strategy and operations. Your work will ensure that technology solutions and processes deliver measurable results, improve member communications, and optimize recovery efforts. You’ll manage critical systems and oversee agency partnerships – all while using data-driven insights to shape strategy. What You’ll Do
Own strategy and roadmap: define and execute the vision for collections systems and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Manage collections systems: oversee administration of current platforms (including Fax).
Lead agency partnerships: manage relationships with external collection agencies, resolve challenges, and share best practices to improve recovery outcomes.
Optimize member communications: refine digital outreach strategies (SMS, email) and run test-and-control campaigns to improve engagement and results.
Analyze and improve: conduct data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decisions.
Collab across teams: work closely with Credit Risk, Compliance, Customer Service, Finance, and external vendors to deliver seamless solutions.
Drive continuous improvement: capture insights, monitor KPIs, and adjust strategies to enhance efficiency and member experience.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in technology, business, or related discipline.
Typically requires 7 years of product management, product development, or equivalent experience with platform technology within collections.
Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Previous experience overseeing all elements of the product development life cycle.
Experience managing highly effective cross-functional teams.
Experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships.
Familiarity with collections systems (e.g., Fax, Temenos) and digital communication tools (SMS platforms like LiveVox or Genesys).
Data analysis skills using SQL, SAS, or similar tools.
Ability to proactively identify business and customer needs, overcome barriers, and formulate solutions.
Previous experience understanding and determining product strategies based on the voice of the customer.
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
