is currently seeking an X‑Ray Technologist for a
PRN weekend MR Tech Assistant
position at our outpatient imaging center in Raleigh (Saturday and Sunday). This is an earn‑as‑you‑learn opportunity for candidates who want to work in an outpatient setting assisting our registered MRI Technologists with patient care. The role offers exposure to multiple modalities, future cross‑training opportunities, and is ideal for a new graduate or experienced radiographer interested in learning multiple modality workflows.
Earn‑as‑you‑learn training includes seven weeks of paid online didactic coursework incorporated into your work week at one of our centers. Upon completion of the coursework and on‑site job training, an employee is eligible for an exam to become certified as an MRI Tech Aide.
Responsibilities
Assist registered MRI Technologists with patient care during PRN weekend shifts.
Support clinical procedures and workflow for MRI exams.
Maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort.
Participate in ongoing training and certification processes.
Requirements
Maintain current ARRT (R) registration. New graduates are welcome.
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain a valid registration.
BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
License/Certification Requirements
ARRT Radiography Registered
BLS certification (within 60 days of hire)
