Overview Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking per diem EM physicians to join our growing department. Candidates must be BE/BC and Emergency Medicine trained, and demonstrate interest and experience in academics, research, and clinical practice.

Loma Linda University Medical Center is a Level 1 trauma center, with annual 70,000 visits, an ACGME accredited 3‑year residency program, and fellowship programs including Pediatric EM, International EM, and Ultrasound. Responsibilities As a per diem EM physician, you will provide acute emergency care including assessment, stabilization, and disposition of patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in daily hand‑offs and case discussions. You will also be expected to contribute to academic activities, research, and mentorship of trainees in line with departmental goals.

Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine

Completed Emergency Medicine training (e.g., residency, fellowships)

Interest and experience in academic medicine, research, and clinical practice

Eligibility to work in California; California residency required upon start date

Compensation & Benefits The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $200–$225 per hour. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
