Job Summary and Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and conduct detailed medical examinations and histories.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring clear, concise medical information.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, complying with coding, billing, and regulatory requirements.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) and perform procedures as indicated.

Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals during interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions.

Offer consultative services to other providers and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Adhere to ethical and legal standards, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Engage in continuous learning, participating in ongoing medical education and training.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner Studies or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.

APRNs must hold an Acute Care certification; a similar certification is highly desired for PA candidates.

Experience in an inpatient setting with proven ability to deliver quality patient care.

Certification from a nationally recognized certification organization.

Valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible in Nebraska (and Iowa).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $55.65 - $62.54 per hour. Full‑time schedule with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k).
