Job Description As an MRI Tech, you will use advanced imaging technology to provide high‑quality diagnostic scans for physicians to diagnose and treat patients. You will operate and maintain MRI equipment and ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Registered with ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT
Experience with Phillips MRI systems
Current state license (if required)
BLS certification
At least 2 years recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient‑care skills
Contract Details
Pay: $1,800 – $1,993 per week
Hospital setting – 13‑week contract with possibility to extend
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations per physician orders and imaging protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
Maintain patient records and comply with HIPAA guidelines
Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
