Your Opportunity with ECG As a consultant or senior consultant, you’ll work across ECG’s four divisions—Health System Performance, Medical Group Optimization, Payer Strategy & Contracting, and Strategy & Enterprise Growth—to design and implement evidence‑based strategies that transform the delivery of care.
Your Responsibilities May Include
Analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting data to inform client recommendations.
Using financial modeling to conduct in‑depth analyses and recommend executable strategies.
Conducting stakeholder interviews and leading information‑gathering efforts.
Assisting in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets.
Drafting project analyses and deliverables, and communicating project progress to client staff.
Identifying follow‑on opportunities and helping scope and close subsequent engagements.
Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG senior consulting leaders to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Demonstrating the ability to excel at consulting while balancing work and personal life.
Our Expectations of You
Strong knowledge of and passion for the healthcare industry.
Master’s degree in business administration and/or a health‑related field.
Prior relevant experience in the academic healthcare space (2+ years for consultant; 3+ years for senior consultant).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects.
Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills, coupled with strong client service.
Strong written and verbal presentation skills and willingness to travel at least 60% of the time.
Job Locations
Boston, San Diego, or Atlanta
Hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of two days per week in office when not traveling for a client engagement.
Schedule Full time / exempt

Estimated base salary range: $110,000 – $150,000 annually. You’ll also be eligible for ECG’s annual incentive compensation program and benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) matching program, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs.
