Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst – Mainframe
Overview:
We are seeking a
Senior Programmer Analyst
with strong mainframe expertise to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands‑on experience with COBOL, DB2, and CICS, and a solid understanding of enterprise mainframe applications and systems. This role is critical to supporting and enhancing core banking systems and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using
COBOL ,
DB2 , and
CICS .
Analyze system requirements and business needs to design technical solutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to performance tuning, system optimization, and documentation.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience
in mainframe development.
Expertise in
COBOL ,
DB2 , and
CICS .
Strong understanding of batch and online processing in enterprise environments.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues independently.
Preferred Experience:
Banking or financial services industry
background.
Exposure to
Hogan systems
or core banking platforms is a strong plus.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
