Department Details This position is managing our network security services team focused on ensuring our network meets all security requirements, including network segmentation, firewalls, and observability. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in networking and security operational functions.
Job Summary The Manager of Information Security is responsible for developing and leading an Information Security team to deliver enterprise-class security services in partnership with IT operations. Duties include workflow analysis, design, implementation, continuous process improvement, and operational support focused on network security. The Manager also develops the team, manages staffing, approves time off, maintains schedule, performs hiring and discipline, conducts performance appraisals, and oversees vendor management, contract, and support agreements. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business or related field.
Minimum of four years relevant work experience.
Extensive knowledge of information security principles and techniques.
Strong working knowledge of NIST, PCI, HIPAA.
ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
Experience in training, presentation, and project management.
