Pharmacy 340B Program Audit Analyst – Full‑Time, Day Shift
Be a part of a world‑class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as a Pharmacy 340B Program Audit Analyst. In this role you will conduct audits and support third‑party audits of the pharmacy 340B program for all qualified entities within the organization, including retail and contract pharmacy relationships. This is a remote/hybrid position.
Base Pay Range $83,200 – $97,000 per year.
Job Description As a Pharmacy 340B Program Audit Analyst, you will be responsible for auditing to ensure qualifications for the program are met and maintained; auditing to ensure related records are complete and accurate; and audits to ensure all primary objectives defined by leadership are consistently achieved. Three primary objectives are:
Compliance Audits – Assuring all use of 340B throughout the institution (including retail and contract pharmacies) is fully compliant with all federal regulations and related interpretations.
Maximum Participation Audits – Assuring the institution achieves maximum utilization of 340B pricing through full participation in all qualified areas with all applicable products, including inpatient contracts, to achieve greatest cost savings.
Efficiency of 340B Processes Audits – Assuring that all policies, procedures, and related approaches to 340B include the most efficient use of resources.
Essential Job Functions
Member of an audit team, acting as the institutional “compliance expert” on 340B covering qualifications and policy details.
Emphasis on retail and contract pharmacy transactional and operational compliance audits and recommendations.
Attend 340B conferences, monitor Apexus, 340B Health, OPA, industry publications and professional media to keep the institution updated on interpretations and rulings.
Audit and monitor all points of service where 340B participation occurs to ensure policies and procedures are followed and entities qualify for covered patients.
Audit utilization records and 340B purchasing accounts, supporting internal compliance assessments and external assessments with outside firms.
Develop and monitor monthly and annual audit reports on 340B participation, documenting findings, problem areas and discrepancies for pharmacy leadership.
Provide insight into consistent policies and procedures that assure productivity and efficiency and prevent unnecessary costs.
Support proper implementation that ensures full compliance without additional steps, paperwork, or manpower.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting with exposure to or limited experience with 340B program, including 340B Prime Vendor Certification.
Minimum three years’ experience in business analysis within a healthcare environment.
Teamwork and strong collaboration skills.
Proven success in the following competencies: Auditing, analysis, and reporting

Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
