Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr
The Project Manager will oversee large‑scale mixed‑use, multi‑family new construction projects from preconstruction through closing. Project Managers must have a proven background managing complex electrical systems, coordinating with multiple trades, and leading project teams to deliver on time and within budget. They must lead our teams with a mindset of exceeding customer expectations and ensuring all work adheres to company safety policies and OSHA‑mandated requirements.
Project Manager Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including budgeting, obtaining required permits and licenses, managing scheduling, manpower assignments, procurement, installation, and final turnover.
Oversee and coordinate the work of project engineers, estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and field staff.
Study and develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate with clients and teams to define project requirements and scope.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure design compliance and constructability.
Develop and maintain project schedules using construction software such as Spectrum.
Prepare cost estimates, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
Meet with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction methods and strategies to meet team objectives.
Monitor job progress and quality to ensure adherence to safety, code compliance, and company standards.
Manage project budgets and forecasts, identify and mitigate risks proactively, and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and legal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a culture of teamwork with a focus on exceeding customer expectations, high‑level accountability, and continuous improvement across all project phases.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of project management experience in electrical construction, with a strong portfolio of leading teams working on multi‑million‑dollar mixed‑use, multi‑family new builds in King County, preferably in Bellevue and Seattle.
Deep knowledge of NEC, building codes, and local electrical regulations.
Proven ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar electrical projects.
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.) as well as understanding of industry practices, processes, standards and their impact on project activities.
Expert‑level skills in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
Experience with workforce projection and jobsite manpower assignments.
Experience working with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely on‑site project delivery.
Ability to work independently and manage job site tasks.
Task‑oriented, self‑motivated, organized, and a strong and efficient communicator.
Strong troubleshooting skills, strong attention to detail, and a safety‑focused mindset.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of productivity.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients; as the Project Manager is the face of the company.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Fluent spoken, written, and verbal communication in English.
Must be able to legally work for any employer in the United States of America.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with estimating software (McCormick).
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications and Bluebeam.
OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification.
