As a Technical Consultant at Aderant, you will play a critical role in implementing, configuring, and supporting our enterprise legal software solutions for law firms and professional services organizations. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a client-focused mindset to ensure successful solution delivery and ongoing system optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration
Deploy and configure Aderant products (e.g., Expert, ATO, CompuLaw etc.) to meet client requirements.
Work closely with business analysts and project managers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
Perform system installations, upgrades, integrations, and customizations.
Client Engagement
Act as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams.
Provide guidance, best practices, and training to ensure clients maximize value from Aderant solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve client-reported issues in a timely manner.
Support & Maintenance
Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system maintenance.
Identify and elevate complex issues to senior consultants or product engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills
SQL development and database administration experience.
Familiarity with .NET, C#, XML, Web Services, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
Knowledge of ERP/financial systems, preferably in the legal or professional services sector.
Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Crystal Reports).
Familiarity with Azure, cloud platforms, or SaaS environments is a plus.
Soft Skills
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to manage client expectations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global, distributed team.
Project management or consulting experience is an advantage.
