Freelance SAP WM Consultant - Fully Remote from Poland (Start ASAP)
We are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant to join an Agile team focused on integrating SAP systems with external warehouse IT solutions. This role is part of the
Integration to External Warehouses
team and supports a major digitalization program in the Product Supply area.
This is a long-term freelance opportunity, fully remote from Poland, with an ASAP start.
Role Overview As the SAP WM Consultant, you will act as a functional expert and consultant within SAP WM (ECC). You will be responsible for designing, building, and integrating solutions between SAP and external warehouse systems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to support successful delivery and go‑lives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and integration of solutions between SAP systems and external warehouse IT systems.
Collaborate closely with Agile teams in Digital, Data & IT – Product Supply, including business stakeholders, internal IT, and external vendors.
Work within an Agile Release Train to support the organization’s digitalization journey.
Develop, maintain, and optimize functional solutions within SAP WM (ECC).
Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for external warehouse go‑lives.
Provide expert‑level guidance on SAP WM processes, best practices, and integration patterns.
Required Experience
Strong experience with SAP WM and ECC (minimum 5 years preferred).
Proven experience with integration to external warehouses.
Solid understanding of related SAP modules: MM, SD, QM, PP/PI.
Knowledge of IDoc monitoring, handling units (HU), and related integration processes.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) and ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work fully remotely while driving project streams independently.
Desired Experience
Experience with integration technologies, web services, RFC interfaces (e.g., OpenText).
Background in IT solution design: specification, development, validation, implementation, and maintenance.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Knowledge of GxP regulations and/or pharmaceutical industry experience is a strong advantage.
