The

Quality Inspector

performs detailed

visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical inspections

across source, first-article, receiving, in-process, and final testing stages. This role supports accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment and requires high attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and procedures. Key Responsibilities

Perform and verify all inspection functions using company or customer drawings, equipment, and procedures. Review and approve inspection and test data with precision and accuracy. Read and interpret

mechanical/electrical drawings

and technical documents. Interface with customer or government source-inspection personnel when needed. Maintain inspection records in accordance with company procedures. Generate or assist with corrective and preventive actions. Support and uphold the organization’s

Quality Management System . Perform other duties as requested or assigned. Work overtime and travel when required by operational needs. Required Experience

Ability to read/write English at a professional level. Ability to use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Basic four-function mathematics and SPC data collection. Must not be color blind or non-correctably vision-impaired. Familiarity with AS9102 and creation of AS9102 FAIRs. Nice-to-Have Experience

High School diploma or equivalent. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI). 3–5 years manufacturing experience. 3–5 years inspection experience. Required Skills

Mechanical & electrical inspection Blueprint/drawing interpretation Dimensional measurement (calipers, micrometers) Preferred Skills

SPC data collection Corrective/preventive action processes Understanding of AS9100B / Quality Management Systems Documentation and reporting Customer/government inspection interface Additional Skills
