The DRIPBaR is seeking an outgoing, experienced Nurse to join our team of wellness professionals on a mission to help people feel better so they can do more of what they love. We provide the highest quality intravenous and intramuscular vitamin drips that deliver essential nutrients right at the cellular level for maximum absorption in a fun, comfortable environment. Minimal Weekend Coverage
Job Duties
Lead, guide and manage other staff in a motivational and encouraging manner
Prepare IV & IM vitamins for administration with appropriate technique in isolator hood
Successfully performs venipuncture, placement of peripheral IV's, possible accesses implanted ports and PICC lines
Monitor client while infusion is taking place
Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Clean and maintain infusion room & sterile hood
Documenting therapy details in client’s charts using EMR
Various office and customer service duties to include but not limited to : scheduling appointments, verifying the correct forms are filled out and complete, reviewing health history forms, and providing an excellent customer experience
Consult and coordinate with our medical provider when necessary on standing orders to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient IV or injection therapy plans
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed Registered Nurse
Minimum of five years of experience as a nurse in an acute care setting (ER, ICU, Med‑Surg or similar)
BSL certificatified
Must possess VERY strong IV peripheral skills and intramuscular injections
Experience accessing Ports and PICC lines
Comfortable using electronic medical records to document client details
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
Must be able to assume a flexible work schedule if needed
Value ethics and integrity
Embrace a team environment and also excel at working independently
Willing to adhere to all policies and procedures and understand the importance of maintaining medical compliance
Working Conditions May work around usual office and outpatient conditions. During busy periods, may require long periods of time standing and / or walking and administering multiple IVs and injections at a time. Must be able to chart accurately and in a timely fashion. May work around biohazards. Exposure to blood borne pathogens is possible. Exposure to chemicals and commercial items typically found in offices, medical clinics, and building repairs / maintenance.
General Notes Seeking a full time employee; shift availability and hours may fluctuate based on business needs. Additional hours may be required during peak periods.
