Our client, a highly respected organization operating within the non‑profit and healthcare sectors, is seeking an experienced and certified
Director of Human Resources
to lead their people strategy and HR functions. This critical executive role oversees all aspects of human resources, including Talent Management, Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, Performance Management, HRIS Administration, and Legal Compliance.
The HR Director supervises the HR team while ensuring compliance with employment law and promoting HR best practices. Supports the leadership and management teams by providing HR guidance and counsel as needed.
This position requires a balanced approach, encompassing both hands‑on operational duties and strategic planning.
Key responsibilities include ensuring strict compliance with Federal and State employment laws (such as EEO‑1, OSHA, and Workers’ Compensation), managing internal investigations and disciplinary processes, overseeing the annual performance review cycle and retirement plan (Form 5500) filings.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), possess five or more years of HR managerial experience, and have the required SPHR or SHRM‑SCP certification.
Superior communication, leadership, and HRIS skills (ADP a plus) are mandatory, and prior experience in a non‑profit and/or healthcare environment is highly valued.
