Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time. Paragonix also markets transplant services and organ screening to the transplant community.
The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Assistant Controller and support day-to-day accounting activities, including month‑end close, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to take on new responsibilities, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting, with exposure to areas such as accounts payable, prepaids, fixed assets, and accruals.
This is a hybrid role. We require you to come into the office 3 times a week.
Job Responsibilities
Manage full cycle A/P including vendor setup, proper general ledger coding, invoice processing and approvals, weekly vendor payment runs and vendor inquiries
Ensure timely processing and payment of invoices
Reconcile cash daily and prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Perform general ledger account reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries, including those related to prepaids, accruals, amortization, and depreciation
Help prepare internal reports for various departments and support cross‑functional information requests
Assist auditors in the performance of year‑end financial audit
Support ad hoc projects as needed
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
At least 1 year of accounting experience (internships or entry‑level roles welcome)
Experience with NetSuite or Coupa (or both) is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel specifically)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Candidates must be well organized and detail oriented
Salary range is $60,000-$75,000 based on experience.
