Description:
BridgePoint Sub‑Acute and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN provides professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, supervises unlicensed nursing personnel, and performs other duties as assigned. The LPN administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Clinical competence in nursing procedures and patient care is required based on established theory, nursing standards and practices. The LPN must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional staff, patients, and all facility personnel. Successful completion of orientation and competencies established by nursing administration within 30 days of employment is mandatory.

Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, L.P.N., Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN, L.V.N.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
License/Certification:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN license from the District of Columbia. BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Experience:
Minimum one year of prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Safety Sensitive-Designated Positions:
