What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage the day-to-day payroll processing using the Lawson payroll system
Oversee and assist in biweekly payroll check processing and balancing
Maintain accurate payroll data, including employee information, tax withholdings, and deductions
Manage employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and financial information
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a healthcare setting
Experience with the Lawson payroll system or similar enterprise payroll software
Familiarity with automated time and attendance and staff scheduling software, such as API Healthcare Symplr, Kronos, or ADP
Ability to generate and run reports in Lawson, including ad hoc reports using Access or other reporting tools
Preference for candidates who have been a Payroll Manager with Lawson and Time and Attendance systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience working in a healthcare environment
Knowledge of union contracts
Familiarity with API Healthare systems
