We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Brooklyn, NY territory in this unique community‑based opportunity. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six‑figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.

New hire training will be held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Grand Canyon Education offers a generous benefits package, including 100% tuition‑free education for employees through the Master’s degree program level and 75% coverage at the Doctorate degree program level. Over the past 3+ years, you’ve demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management.

You know it’s not all about achieving your goals. While that does get you excited, what you really thrive on is using your exceptional communication and coaching skills to help non‑traditional Grand Canyon University students level up in their lives through quality education.

Typical Responsibilities

Strategy and execution: Identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs and drive inquiry generation. Shape high‑impact partnerships and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails.

Partner and influencer: Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through a variety of mediums, championing the GCE mission and promoting Grand Canyon University student success.

Heart and Hustle: Work independently, using out‑of‑the‑box critical thinking to support prospective students through the admissions process and guide them toward a successful online learning experience.

The role might be right for you if you have:

A Bachelor’s degree preferred. No delinquent or in‑default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report.

Outstanding time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing priorities while traveling.

Clear communication skills, comfortable with in‑person, written and phone communication, and well‑developed listening skills.

Self‑motivation and drive to succeed.

High emotional intelligence, with the ability to demonstrate empathy.

A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, flexible schedule, and a clean driving record.

Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Bonus Points If You Have

Relevant industry‑related professional experience.

Experience working with CRM tools.
