Job Overview Meter is at an inflection point, building a horizontally integrated networking solution that enables businesses of all sizes to connect to the internet quickly and reliably. We’re on a mission to disrupt the networking industry, which is dominated by a handful of large players. As Sales, you will be the first layer of Majors sales reps driving our growth by sourcing and closing new business in the West Coast US Enterprise market.

What Success Looks Like

Ramp quickly through sales onboarding to close your first deal within the first few months.

Source and close new business with Majors customers on the West Coast across any vertical with >10,000 employees or >250,000 city residents.

Consistently meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, generating hundreds of thousands to millions in annual recurring revenue.

Build and execute an outbound motion, identifying priority accounts and delivering a repeatable outreach process.

Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers by mapping Meter’s value to their network, security, and IT infrastructure needs.

Partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to refine our ideal customer profile and go‑to‑market playbook.

Ensure long‑term customer success through smooth handoffs with Deployment, Product, and Customer Success teams.

Your Day Will Look Like

Identify and qualify high‑potential accounts in key verticals.

Book and lead discovery calls with technical and business stakeholders.

Deliver live or virtual product demos tailored to customer needs.

Collaborate with Sales Engineering on complex deployments.

Maintain Salesforce hygiene and manage pipeline accuracy above 90 %.

Onboard, enable, and engage channel partners to increase deal registrations.

Influence product direction with feedback to Product and Marketing.

Who You Are

10+ years of experience selling complex technical products to IT buyers at high‑growth organizations, direct or through channel, ideally in networking infrastructure to large or global enterprise accounts.

In absence of networking experience, experience selling hardware, infrastructure, cloud, or security, or a fast learner able to quickly grasp an esoteric space.

Impressive track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets, earning recognition such as President’s Club.

Consistent pipeline generator with proven ability to book meetings and fill qualified opportunities.

Drive-oriented with willingness to go the extra mile, creative deal‑closing mindset.

Creates clarity out of ambiguity, finding structure in an early‑stage company.

Based on the West Coast, ideally in a major metro area such as San Francisco or Seattle, and close to a major airport.

Compensation

Estimated base salary: $160,000.

Eligible for commissions and participation in Meter’s equity plan.
