Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Manager of Health Informatics, the Revenue Cycle Application Analyst coordinates and provides support on software applications, primarily focusing on revenue cycle workflows, systems, and stakeholders. Provides system support, workflow integration, training materials, and troubleshooting to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing stability and functionality of software systems. Coordinates with the clinical and business teams to facilitate standardization of system processes to streamline clinical care, data, and revenue cycle integrity.QUALIFICATIONS: * 2 or more years of healthcare revenue cycle experience. 2 or more years of supporting software systems or relevant experience. Experience using and supporting multiple aspects of electronic health systems, such as revenue cycle aspects of clinical documentation, registration, utilization management, health information management, billing, claiming, finance, etc. Knowledge of Meditech Expanse MaaS EHR and Microsoft systems preferred. Strong analytical ability. Ability to use critical thinking to prioritize assignments and resolve open issues. Ability to collaborate between revenue cycle and technical stakeholders on projects and initiatives. Proficient with office suite applications. Exceptional customer service and relationship management orientation. Excellent oral, written, and communication skills ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core Competencies

Provides revenue cycle support for the electronic capture of required data elements for mandated reporting.Collaborates effectively between end-users and IS staff/technology vendors to promote effective process design, development, and implementation to enhance the organization’s use of software technologies.Participates in the testing and validation of upgrades and new system functionalities.Provides troubleshooting and coordinates resolution of workflow and application problems and information technology issues related to applications used by revenue cycle stakeholders.Identifies and coordinates new processes, system functionality, system changes, and enhancements to supportrevenue cycle practice and increase compliance.Collaborates with operational leadership to understand current workflows, interpret the best method to optimize and appropriately configure the EHR and administrative systems to design and/or improve current workflows.Participates in the creation and management of project plans supporting department initiatives.Helps develop processes to promote and communicate the integration of new systems.Configures, updates, and customizes revenue cycle modules using information services and change management best practices.Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining education programs for staff pertaining to the revenue cycle aspects of software systems; identifies areas predisposed to problems and provides coaching and training materials to increase knowledge and skills.Coordinates and provides support for developing training materials pertaining to revenue cycle systems with Application Support Specialist(s).Provides administrative support to the Manager of Health Informatics.day shift 40 hours per week Brattleboro Retreat
