We are a hybrid company with a focus on in‑person collaboration. Employees must be available to work from one of our office hubs at least two days a week (eight days a month). US hubs: Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC metro area. European hubs: London, UK; Amsterdam, NL. The Opportunity We are creating a new executive role to lead BetterUp’s evolution from a point solution to an enterprise platform. As VP of Delivery & Deployment Operations you will build and scale the function that turns complex enterprise deals into measurable customer outcomes—owning everything from configuration and integrations to change management and accelerated adoption. This is a builder’s role: you will architect our deployment operating model, lead both named deployment resourcing pods and shared services, and define how customers operationalize BetterUp for lasting impact.

Build the Function

Define the vision, structure, and operating model for enterprise deployment at scale

Design the balance between high‑touch professional services and scalable shared infrastructure

Create playbooks for configuration, integrations, change management, and customer operating model enablement

Lead the Team

Build and lead a global delivery organization across onshore and offshore models

Direct leadership of Client Delivery Directors, Platform Configuration, and Change Management experts

Direct leadership of Partner Operations shared services infrastructure

Dotted‑line oversight of forward‑deployed engineering and product resources

Drive Outcomes

Own KPIs for deployment quality, cost‑to‑serve, and time‑to‑value

Ensure seamless handoffs from Sales, Solution Engineering to Deployment to Client Advisory

Build feedback loops between field learnings and product innovation

Customers achieve faster time‑to‑value with clear, sustainable operating models around BetterUp

A codified, scalable deployment playbook exists across all workstreams

The function operates with clear accountability for cost, quality, and delivery performance

Partners experience a seamless journey from signature to activation—driving retention and expansion

You Bring

15+ years in enterprise software, SaaS, or platform environments leading complex deployments or professional services organizations

Experience building and managing global delivery teams with mixed resourcing models

Track record designing operating models for high‑complexity, multi‑workstream enterprise implementations

Strong P&L acumen—you’ve managed delivery margin, utilization, and cost‑to‑serve metrics

Builder mindset: thrive in ambiguity, operate from first principles, and scale systems and people simultaneously

Ability to translate technical complexity into business outcomes for executive stakeholders

Optimize the model between dedicated account resources and shared services

Define and implement performance metrics across high‑touch and scaled delivery

Compensation At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job‑related experience, education/training, residence location, and market indicators. The following is the base salary range for this role:

New York and San Francisco:

$280,000 - $385,000

Austin and Arlington (D.C. Area):

$252,000 - $346,500

These figures do not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable), and benefits. The range may be modified in the future.
