What will I be doing? As the
Director of Purchasing & Supply Chain Operations
at Videndum Creative Solution, you’ll lead the strategic direction and execution of our global supply chain, overseeing sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, production, and distribution. You will be both a strategic leader and a hands‑on operator, directly engaging in detailed supply chain activities where needed to ensure successful execution. You’ll build and optimize a high‑performing network that ensures efficiency, compliance, and cost‑effectiveness across all operations. You’ll manage supplier relationships, drive process improvements, and collaborate with finance and production teams to align supply chain strategy with business goals. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll champion innovation, implement new technologies, and foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will also lead and personally drive key supply chain projects, including vendor transitions, outsourcing initiatives, and implementation of new operational capabilities.
A typical day might include the following
Manage and optimize a global supply chain logistics network with multiple supply points
Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within global guidelines, specifically recent tariff regulations
Analyze material movement to develop short‑ and long‑range programs that minimize inventory costs, meet schedule requirements, and mitigate risk
Manage and maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and proactively address supply issues
Collaborate with finance, planning, and materials management to determine and maintain optimal inventory levels
Lead continuous improvement initiatives within planning and procurement, including process improvement and cost savings
Lead and execute supply chain‑related projects from concept to completion
Provide leadership and support to planning and procurement teams
Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division
Collaborate with other VCS affiliates and departments to accomplish organizational goals and objectives
Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline manufacturing on‑site
Ensure department decisions and project plans are aligned with business strategy for staffing, development, and resource acquisition
Review and approve cost‑control reports, estimates, and staffing requirements for projects
Establish and administer the department’s budget
Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the CFO and leadership
Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management
Identify training needs and ensure proper training is developed and provided
Implement Health and Safety Program
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field
10+ years of global supply chain management and operations experience in a tech manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to manage cost performance, supply chain practices, and execution across multiple product lines
Experience purchasing electrical components and maintaining contract manufacturing relationships
Experience in overseas relations and tariff regulations
Experience in weekly and monthly operational output deliveries
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex supply chain projects
Leadership experience and strong analytical, financial, and P&L skills
Capacity to build internal and external relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
