Overview Apogee has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Secretary, Senior in support of the United States Space Force; Space Systems Command (SSC). This Task Order (TO) provides the MilComm & PNT Directorate with a broad range of acquisition capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space‑related research, development, production, operations and maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities. The full‑time position is located at Los Angeles Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for Human Resources, personnel, and administrative support across 3‑letter and 4‑letter organizations, including direct support to the PEO Front Office.

Coordinate and interface with Mission Services (SSC/CGO), providing technical guidance to leadership and staff on HR, personnel, and administrative processes.

Manage leadership calendars, organizational battle rhythm, meeting schedules, and activity synchronization using Microsoft Office Suite.

Track, analyze, and disseminate tasks from email, organizational inboxes, and task management systems; ensure timely coordination and submission of required actions.

Review, edit, consolidate, and obtain approvals for personnel packages (performance reports, feedbacks, promotions, awards, training, DAG tasks, etc.).

Serve as Records Custodian, maintaining file plans in AFRIMS and coordinating with the Functional Area Records Manager to support inspections and resolve discrepancies.

Support personnel database updates, employee add/delete actions, and timekeeping functions in the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS).

Provide comprehensive administrative support, including creating reports and briefings, reviewing staff packages, answering phones, managing conference rooms, scheduling meetings, supporting in/out‑processing, managing mail, updating recall rosters, and tracking personnel actions.

Participate in Government‑directed OSS functional meetings and weekly tag‑ups.

Serve as Travel Clerk, managing all traveler support functions such as booking transportation and lodging, preparing itineraries and assisting with voucher completion.

Prepare, correct, and process DTS orders and vouchers; update traveler profiles; and provide guidance on travel regulations and policy updates.

Monitor DTS system performance, report issues within required timeframes, and provide timely responses to travel‑related inquiries, including urgent same‑day support.

Reconcile DTS data monthly and support DTS in/out‑processing for assigned personnel.

Act as focal point for Government Travel Card (GTC), Controlled Spend Accounts (CSA), or equivalent programs; assist travelers with card issues, provide training, and communicate policy changes.

Maintain documentation of all travel‑related activities and support actions.

Contingent upon Contract Award.

Information Management

Track, analyze, and disseminate tasks from email, organizational inboxes, and task management systems; ensure timely coordination and submission of required actions.

Review, edit, consolidate, and obtain approvals for personnel packages (performance reports, feedbacks, promotions, awards, training, DAG tasks, etc.).

Personnel Management & Office Administration

Support personnel database updates, employee add/delete actions, and timekeeping functions in the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS).

Defense Travel System (DTS) Execution

Serve as Travel Clerk, managing all traveler support functions such as booking transportation and lodging, preparing itineraries, and assisting with voucher completion.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.

Clearance: Must possess and maintain a minimum of a Secret level clearance at the time of application.

Education: High School Diploma (minimum).

Years of Experience: 15 years of directly related experience, including eight (8) years of DoD experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, including five (5) years of DoD experience.

Pay Range: USD $92,000.00 – USD $115,000.00 per year.
