Job Summary Ezee Fiber is seeking a highly experienced
VP, MDU
to lead our strategy and execution in the multi‑dwelling unit (MDU) market. This senior leadership role will be responsible for building and executing the company’s MDU sales strategy, overseeing revenue growth, and leading a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Sales Engineers. The Senior Director, MDU will serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving market share expansion, building strategic partnerships with property owners and developers, and ensuring seamless collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Construction, and Marketing. This individual will play a critical role in positioning Ezee Fiber as the premier provider of fiber‑to‑the‑unit (FTTU) connectivity for MDUs across our markets.
Essential Functions Strategy & Growth
Define and lead Ezee Fiber’s go‑to‑market strategy for the MDU channel.
Own revenue targets, pipeline development, and penetration rates within assigned markets.
Identify and prioritize new market opportunities (brownfield and greenfield MDUs).
Develop pricing, partnership, and contract strategies in collaboration with leadership.
Leadership & Team Management
Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing MDU sales team, including Business Development Executives and Sales Engineers.
Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability standards for the MDU team.
Provide coaching, training, and career development opportunities.
Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and customer‑centricity.
Partnership & Business Development
Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with property owners, developers, management companies, and HOA/POA boards.
Oversee the negotiation of bulk service agreements and partnership contracts.
Represent Ezee Fiber at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to elevate the brand and secure new business opportunities.
Frequent local travel to attend community meetings, HOA offices, and events, with occasional evenings or weekends required for HOA/POA board meetings or resident activities.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering, Construction, and Product teams to ensure technical feasibility and timely execution of MDU projects.
Work closely with Marketing on community events, demand generation, and brand positioning.
Align with Finance and Operations on forecasting, budgeting, and contract compliance.
Qualifications Education and Experience requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required; MBA preferred. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in telecommunications or related industries, with at least 5 years in MDU or enterprise sales leadership.
Proven track record of leading teams to exceed revenue and growth targets.
Expertise in MDU business models, bulk agreements, and partnership sales.
Strong contract negotiation skills, with experience structuring complex, multi‑year agreements.
Ability to build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key stakeholders.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Highly strategic with a data‑driven mindset; able to translate insights into actionable plans.
Preferred
Existing relationships within the MDU or real estate industries are a plus.
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience launching new markets, products, or sales functions.
Familiarity with fiber network design, construction, or FTTU technology.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required daily to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements Must be able to travel up to 40% to project sites, corporate office, vendor meetings, and other business locations as required.
