Responsibilities
Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance data infrastructure scalability, optimize data delivery, and automate manual processes.
Build and maintain infrastructure for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a variety of data sources.
Curate and maintain data for metrics and evaluation to support business decisions.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure critical data points are captured and effectively utilized.
Partner with data providers and backend API developers to normalize schemas and define data flows for persistence and analytics.
Design, build, test, and automate data collection and pipelines for operational and analytical needs.
Develop dashboards and other data visualization tools for data analytics.
Implement and integrate AI and ML models to enhance data-driven decision‑making.
Use Agile methodologies to develop and iterate on software, ensuring continuous delivery and improvement.
Required Technical and Professional Experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s). One year of experience as a Data Engineer or related role, including use of SQL, Python, Linux/Unix, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and ServiceNow is required.
Compensation $160,555 – $180,600 per year.
