Kavaliro is seeking a Data Scientist to provide highly technical and in-depth data engineering support. The role will involve performing advanced data science and machine learning work, with focus on natural language processing, multimodal data, and embedded systems. Base Pay Range
$165,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience
Experience in Python, PyTorch, Flask, REST APIs, Statistics, NLP. Experience in Javascript and R. Experience employing machine learning and deep learning modules such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch. Experience with statistical inference, building and understanding predictive models. Experience with large-scale text analytics. Desired Skills
Hands‑on experience researching/developing NLP, CNNs, LLMs, or foundational models. Experience developing and deploying testing and verification methodologies to evaluate algorithm performance. Experience deploying machine learning models on multimodal data (text, audio, video, hardware, peripherals). Experience with Linux system administration and Bash scripting. Experience with Android configuration, software development, and interfacing. Experience with embedded systems (Raspberry Pi). Ability to conduct independent testing and evaluation of research‑grade algorithms. Reporting results and providing documentation and guidance on algorithms. Evaluating, integrating, and leveraging internal data science tools. Optimizing research‑grade algorithms for memory and computational efficiency. Location
