Responsibilities
Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, and develop new or revised application systems to meet business needs.
Monitor all phases of development: analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation and provide user and operational support.
Apply in-depth application development expertise to analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
Recommend and develop security measures and post‑implementation analysis to ensure system design and functionality.
Consult with users, clients, and technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems.
Ensure procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
Act as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and other team members.
Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating sound ethical judgment, compliance with laws, rules and regulations.
Qualifications
5-8 years of technical experience developing applications using SAS scripting.
Good understanding of writing SQL queries.
Experience in shell scripting.
Basic understanding of Mainframe programming (SAS on mainframe) – a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
