Responsibilities
Design and implement major components of the Zero Trust product that has high impact for Barracuda customers.
Evaluate the performance of the product.
Re-evaluate the design and implementation of source code.
Collaborate with team members and team leads.
Create a cloud policy enforcement engine and integrate it with other data plane services.
Troubleshoot network‑related issues.
Tech Stack
GoLang, Rust, TypeScript, or C/C++
Network programming (TCP/HTTPS/HTTP)
Kubernetes and Docker
JSON/XML/ProtoBuf
Git, CMake, Conan, Cargo
GDB/LLDB
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Strong GoLang, Rust, or C/C++ skills with an emphasis on object‑oriented programming.
Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of layer 4‑7 protocols (TCP/HTTP/HTTPS) and working knowledge of SSL (TLS). Deep understanding of security concepts and L4 networking protocols is a plus.
Knowledge of Windows and Mac OS applications development and systems programming (Nice to have).
