Responsibilities
Serve as Scrum Master for one or more data engineering teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and ensure clarity of requirements.
Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Track and report team performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to stakeholders.
Ensure timely delivery of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data platform enhancements.
Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, QA, DevOps, BI teams) to ensure smooth delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in Agile project delivery, with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
Experience managing data engineering or data platform projects.
Familiarity with Databricks, Python, and SQL concepts (not hands‑on coding, but understanding technical context).
Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, etc.).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
