Application Architect
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities
Responsible for building or optimizing Generative AI solutions and helping the business address complex problems
Requirements
Proven hands‑on experience implementing Gen AI projects using open source LLMs (Llama, GPT OSS, Gemma, Mistral) and proprietary APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic)
Strong background in Retrieval Augmented Generation implementations
In‑depth understanding of embedding models and their applications
Hands‑on experience in NLP solutions on text data
Strong Python development skills
Comfortable with Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and feature engineering
Experience building and integrating APIs (REST, FastAPI, Flask) for serving models
Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and orchestration
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience working with Agile methodology
Strong problem‑solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to clearly express ideas
Desired Skills
Fine‑tuning and optimizing open source LLM/SLM
Experience in ML and deep learning
Pay Range $58.31 - $66.31
Eligibility Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
