Company Description InterTech Manager / Team Lead - Church Management Systems (CMS) is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the church’s CMS, with a primary focus on Rock RMS. This role supports the ministry by providing service to the departments and ministries of CCV, maintaining high standards of data integrity, providing technical support and training, and collaborating with both technical and ministry leaders to maximize the CMS system’s positive impact on church engagement and community outreach. The ideal candidate will be a committed Christian with a passion for excellence and a heart for serving the church.

Key Responsibilities

Support CCV’s evolving ministry and departmental CMS needs with a humble “can‑do” posture.

Passion for Data Integrity and Reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Monitor CMS data quality, availability, and system performance.

Collaborate with other CCV departments to maintain a roadmap of deliverables, ensuring shared visibility into CMS Capabilities and delivery timelines for key features.

Technical Support and Staff Training

Deliver technical support for staff using the Rock CMS, addressing user issues promptly and effectively.

Train and manage internal Rock support staff with a servant’s heart, demonstrating the level of commitment, compassion and service called for in serving the Lord.

Conduct comprehensive ROCK training for all new staff members as part of the onboarding process.

Work with the CMS Team to develop and update training materials and documentation to support ongoing staff development.

Troubleshooting and System Operations

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data‑related issues to ensure seamless system operations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for data integrity and technical concerns within the CMS.

Collaboration and Strategic Planning

Partner with Rock RMS Developers, the CCV InterTech Dev Team, and ministry leadership to optimize system functionality and ministry engagement.

Collaborate with staff to develop long‑range plans for Rock RMS enhancements and future version adoption.

Document and maintain best practices and written processes for ROCK data entry and maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in data integrity, including auditing, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.

Minimum of 1 year of experience providing technical support and training to staff.

Minimum of 1 year of experience troubleshooting and resolving data issues to ensure smooth system operations.

Minimum of 1 year of experience (or willingness and ability to learn) systems administration functions needed in the support and maintenance of servers in Microsoft Azure.

Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Be flexible and available to support the church in the event of CMS issues or outages.

Desired Experience

Experience working within a Christian Non‑Profit workplace.

Experience with application, use, and support of Rock CHMS/RMS at a similar sized church.

Working Relationships

Reports to: InterTech Director of Technology and Innovation

Supervises: CMS Technical support staff and volunteers as needed

Works closely with: Rock RMS Developers, ministry leaders, CCV InterTech AppDev Team, and all staff engaged with CMS
