Base pay range $175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr
Our client is a $12bn single‑manager hedge fund with a track record spanning over 20 years.
Responsibilities The position will focus on performing research and analysis on potential long/short equity investing opportunities, monitoring existing positions, and assisting in the overall management of the hedge fund's strategy.
The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team that includes financial statement analysis, industry research, and company‑specific due diligence.
Responsibilities of the role include assisting in the development and implementation of equity investing strategies, preparing and presenting investment recommendations to the investment team, and providing timely updates on changes to the investment thesis.
Qualifications
1‑4 years of total work experience in a complex finance role, preferably within investment banking, equity research or private equity
Excellent academic credentials, Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably within a finance, economics or mathematics discipline
Experience in conducting research and due diligence, and producing “client‑ready” investment materials
Strong quantitative aptitude with a high attention to detail
