Position Overview This role reports directly to senior leadership and is responsible for managing core financial functions, including accounting, billing, payroll, budgeting, benefits administration, and risk management. The position also involves creating and maintaining KPI dashboards and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making, as well as assisting with real estate-related financial analysis and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor payments, reconcile records, and resolve discrepancies.
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Maintain program-level dashboards and budget-to-actual comparisons.
Support audits and financial reviews.
Build and present KPI dashboards covering financial and operational metrics to guide leadership decisions.
Collaborate with department heads to track performance and identify trends.
Ensure organizational compliance with licensing, regulatory filings, and accreditation requirements.
Maintain insurance policies and coordinate renewals, audits, and claims.
Manage vendor contracts and relationships, including negotiations and invoicing.
Identify risk exposures and recommend mitigation strategies.
Manage client accounts and related financial documentation.
Oversee compliance for client entitlements and benefits programs.
Assist with financial analysis for leases, acquisitions, and property evaluations.
Support due diligence, documentation review, and coordination with external partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong FP&A and financial reporting background.
Solid understanding of GAAP and internal control best practices.
Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
