Director of Restaurant Franchise Sales

Compensation:

$150,000 – $200,000 base + performance bonus

A rapidly expanding restaurant group is seeking an experienced

Director of Franchise Sales

to lead franchise development efforts across key U.S. markets. This role is ideal for a growth-driven sales leader who understands restaurant operations, franchise systems, and how to identify and onboard exceptional franchise partners.

About the Role

The Director of Franchise Sales will drive national growth by sourcing qualified franchise candidates, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and partnering with executive leadership on market expansion strategies. This position requires a strong background in restaurant franchising, business development, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a proactive franchise sales strategy to expand the brand in targeted markets

Identify, qualify, and nurture prospective franchisees through pipelines, outreach, and industry networks

Conduct discovery calls, webinars, and in-person meetings to present the franchise value proposition

Manage all steps of the franchise sales process, including applications, financial review, territory mapping, and approval packages

Collaborate closely with Operations, Marketing, Real Estate, and Legal teams throughout the franchise approval process

Represent the brand at franchise expos, industry conferences, and regional events

Build a robust CRM pipeline and maintain detailed reporting on franchise lead activity and conversion metrics

Provide insight and recommendations on market trends, unit economics, and competitive activity

Ensure all sales efforts comply with brand standards, FDD guidelines, and state regulations

Required Qualifications

5–7+ years of experience in franchise sales , ideally within the restaurant, QSR, or fast-casual segment

Proven success meeting and exceeding franchise development goals

Strong understanding of franchise models, FDD requirements, and operational fundamentals

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Ability to evaluate financial qualifications and business plans for prospective operators

Willingness to travel for franchise events, market reviews, and candidate meetings

Preferred Qualifications

Experience scaling a rapidly growing restaurant brand

Strong network within the restaurant and franchising community

Knowledge of real estate, site selection, and unit development timelines
