Founding Engineer

Meticulate (YC W24) . We’re hiring a founding engineer to be team member #4 and work closely with co-founders Joseph + Wilbur and our other founding engineer on engineering. You’ll have significant ownership over the parts of the product you choose, from spinning up infra to placing pixels on the front‑end. We’d love to chat if you’re a killer engineer.
Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Open technical problems that we could use your help with
Creating “non‑traditional” data streams on companies and people / deriving useful structured data from unstructured text
A system that learns preferences from sparse customer product interactions (overrides, upvotes/downvotes) and automatically iterates towards better messaging
Building robust infrastructure for sending outbound messages that can scale to the level that our customers want to operate at (many thousands/day, 100k’s of LLM calls/day)
Figuring out how our outreach engine can use non‑traditional selling channels (SMS, direct mail) in addition to emails & phone calls to give our customers a competitive advantage
Our Tech Stack Includes
Python, React (Typescript), Postgres, MongoDB, AWS, + a lot of LLM related stuff that we can chat about
