Governance Platform Overview
The Governance Platform is a global team dedicated to ensuring a safe, trustworthy, and ethical marketplace for buyers, sellers, and creators. We constantly enhance risk detection, promote fairness and sustainability, and maintain high standards for content and product quality. Responsibilities
Build up and manage the Governance Platform team in the US. Hands‑on solution design and architecture, providing technical support for team engineers. Align with business and organizational objectives, coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver key results, and contribute technical decisions on projects and products. Define the long‑term technical roadmap for the team. Build team structure and morale, help team members grow their careers. Qualifications
Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 3+ years of experience managing or tech leading a software engineering team with 5+ engineers. Experience managing teams in a fast‑paced environment. Effective communication of technical information to both technical and non‑technical collaborators across functions and levels. Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills. Strong experience with E‑Commerce Governance, including Anti‑Fraud and Risk Management, is a plus. 5+ years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems. About TikTok
