Walton Isaacson
Vice President of New Business Development
Walton Isaacson is seeking a results-driven, relationship-oriented business development professional. Someone who thrives on identifying opportunity, building chemistry, and turning potential into partnership. This is a role for a business development professional who combines hustle with heart: prospecting, generating, and converting new client opportunities while leading internal pitch efforts with clarity, collaboration, and confidence.
You’ll own the front end of WI’s growth pipeline, from research and outreach through opportunity qualification, and when the opportunity becomes a live pitch, you’ll lead cross-functional teams with precision, creativity, and undeniable presence. The ideal candidate knows how to hunt with purpose: building relationships rooted in trust, driving conversations that move culture and business forward, and representing WI’s belief that growth happens where creativity meets connection.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through intentional outreach, networking, and relationship-building with senior brand and marketing decision-makers.
Build and manage a dynamic pipeline of qualified leads using CRM systems, AI tools, and modern prospecting platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot).
Develop personalized outreach campaigns that position WI as a high-value, culture-first strategic partner.
Drive consistent new business conversations with C-suite and VP-level marketers, opening doors and building trust.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs tied to outreach volume, meeting generation, and pipeline growth.
Deeply understand WI’s offerings, case studies, and differentiators, translating capabilities into value-driven, culturally resonant conversations.
Collaborate with agency leadership to prioritize industries and categories that align with WI’s strategic growth priorities.
Pitch Leadership & Coordination
Lead the full pitch process, from qualification through final presentation for both self-generated and assigned opportunities.
Own timelines, deliverables, and internal collaboration, ensuring clarity, accountability, and excellence.
Partner cross-functionally with strategy, creative, production, and account teams to deliver cohesive, compelling responses.
Lead and guide the creation of proposals and storytelling that translate WI’s expertise and passion into persuasive, human-centered narratives.
Develop and maintain custom credentials decks and write compelling case studies that showcase WI’s impact and differentiation.
Present with confidence, charisma, and cultural fluency, creating chemistry that builds trust and drives conversion.
Collaborate with the President and senior leadership to ensure each pitch reflects WI’s positioning and vision for growth.
Maintain thoughtful post-pitch follow-up and ongoing relationship cultivation to remain top of mind with prospects.
Relationship Management
Continuously expand and nurture a network of brand-side contacts, consultants, and industry connectors.
Build credibility through trust, authenticity, and a genuine enthusiasm for creative partnership.
Represent WI at key conferences and cultural events, amplifying the agency’s visibility and reach.
Create relationships rooted in empathy, chemistry, and curiosity, not just opportunity.

Stay sharp on category trends, leadership movements, and brand shifts that reveal new opportunities.

Share learnings and insights regularly with leadership to strengthen WI’s market focus and differentiation.
