This position leads and supports the cross functional roles of the quality team; clinical effectiveness, service lines, regulatory (preparedness and readiness), and safety. Lead the development of standards to drive people readiness, implementation support, and quality strategy adoption in collaboration with Quality Leaders and key stakeholders. Major Responsibilities
Translate knowledge and support tools into actionable plans for diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability. Manage transition from development to implementation teams, ensuring continuity and clarity. Prevent duplication and overload in the field by aligning multiple initiatives from various teams. Coordinate Quality activities across safety, regulatory, benchmarking, signals and people agendas to support acquisitions and divestitures. Develop and oversee change impact assessments and change readiness assessment frameworks for delivery initiatives. Drive collaboration with other cross functional departments to create a more streamlined approach around pre-and-post deal planning for acquisitions. Serve as escalation path for issues occurring in the implementation of quality processes. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (as well as external partners) to manage acquisitions and divestitures across Quality. Collaborate with Quality team, corporate partners, Division and facility to understand the issues and challenges involved in quality improvement. Define, develop and oversee implementation and communications plans for integration into strategic projects, in collaboration with quality, physician, nursing leaders across corporate, division and facility. Develop and oversee implementation impact assessments and readiness frameworks for quality strategies. Ensure and validate utilization of adoption/training programs for technology, innovative models of care and process optimization. Develop and deploy tools and resources to ensure integration of the appropriate stakeholders to successfully drive strategic programs. Effectively partner across the HCA network across stakeholder groups and functional areas, to implement a Quality strategic agendas. Design and ensure onboarding of new Quality leaders by role to the HCA quality programs. Develop and implement a standard virtual program for acquisitions and divestitures across all facilities. Implement success metrics for end user experience and the integration team. Actively communicate with stakeholders to accomplish project activities across multiple business groups. Proactively identify and resolve issues; manage program/project deliverables, manage and mitigate risk. Leads change control processes are established and effective for programs/projects across all involved business entities. Monitor and regularly assess the quality and effectiveness of program delivery, and provide feedback to ensure consistent effective program performance. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Serves as a facilitator, technical advisor, and analyst to hospital management and teams on the use of quality improvement tools and techniques, and analytical techniques. Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.” Continue professional development. Independently and effectively manage assigned project work. Education & Experience
Master's degree preferred / Bachelor’s Required. 5+ years of experience in leading large scale projects focused on process improvement and operations. 7+ years of healthcare experience required with a PMP, LEAN, or Six Sigma Certification preferred. Expert user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access. Ability to use data systems such as Power Bi, Visual Insights, etc. Tactical execution – demonstrates personal ownership of tasks and follows through to get the required results in the established timeframe. Experience leading large, enterprise-scale projects or programs required. Strong process improvement experience in a large-scale corporate environment required. Exceptional critical thinking skills required. Possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities. HCA Healthcare (Corporate)
