Overview This role offers a hybrid work arrangement: three days a week in the office and two days remote.
Skills As a Senior Planner/Scheduler you will apply your technical skills to meet project team and client needs for developing and maintaining project schedules and monitoring project performance. You will interface directly with project management, client management, and site personnel to develop detailed integrated schedules for the engineering, procurement, and construction scopes of work associated with transmission and distribution projects, using industry and proprietary software tools, including Primavera P6.
Responsibilities
Implement project controls tools and methodology.
Develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices.
Perform critical path analysis, provide schedule insights, and recommend corrective actions when required.
Support schedule contingency management and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and manage project risks.
Provide regular project updates and report deviations from the approved project baseline to the project team.
Support month‑end closing and phase gate processes.
Ensure standardized file locations exist for all required schedule documents.
Produce look‑ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports.
Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client requests.
Analyze data and build reports to support project monitoring and decision making.
Interface regularly with project management to support monitoring of schedule performance.
Occasionally travel to client offices for project coordination meetings.
Qualifications We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
Essential Skills And Experience
Proficiency using Primavera P6 scheduling software, including resource loading experience.
Familiarity with the practical application of project controls.
7 or more years of project experience.
Post‑secondary graduate degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors at varying levels.
Motivated to learn new skills, develop knowledge, and add value to project team operations; willing to engage with others to understand project needs; committed to delivering high‑quality, accurate deliverables with attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially advanced use of Excel and/or Access to create detailed, interactive spreadsheets, workbooks, and databases.
Valued But Not Required Skills And Experience
Related engineering internship, co‑op, or work experience in project controls, project planning, project scheduling, or earned‑value performance, preferably within the power industry.
Professional certifications such as AACE CST, PMI equivalents, AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or PMI equivalents.
Equivalent training or successful completion of designated proficiency testing if professional designation is unavailable.

Compensation Range $95,840.00 – $147,870.00
