The fastest-growing energy brokerage firm is hiring a full-time Senior Data Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining robust data infrastructure and systems that power the organization’s decision-making.
This position blends architecture, development, deployment, and client-facing work, where you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines while implementing comprehensive data quality controls, governance standards, and privacy frameworks. You will also build and maintain MLOps infrastructure to support model development, deployment, and monitoring. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product, engineering, and business.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in data engineering
Experience with cloud services such as containerization, IaaS, observability systems, and multi-environment architecture
Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling, ETL processes, privacy frameworks, governance standards, and quality controls
Proficiency in Python, SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, and Spark
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience working directly with stakeholders
Experience mentoring team members on engineering best practices
Proven collaboration and leadership skills

Daily Responsibilities
Implement and monitor data quality controls, governance standards, and privacy frameworks to ensure reliable, compliant datasets
Manage and optimize cloud environments, containers, and observability tools to support efficient, secure data operations
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
Mentor junior engineers and promote data best practices
Develop and maintain MLOps systems
