Job Overview
Design, requirements, validation and verification tasks for MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics for the US Army Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs.

Responsibilities
Perform platform system‑specific on‑site execution of requirements‑based testing, robustness and ad‑hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
Support cross‑functional team development with both external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams for different Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) builds.
Use various engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others.
Investigate Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment; including integration investigations of the interfaces for Collins Aerospace equipment and government‑furnished equipment in the lab.
Required Qualifications
Relevant systems engineering job experience.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Working knowledge/understanding of data buses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL‑STD‑1553B, and ARINC‑429).
Preferred Qualifications
Military avionics experience.
Experience with TNT, DOORS, PREP, JIRA and/or Microsoft Office Suite is desired.
