Your Opportunity We are hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineer‑EIT to perform engineering work under supervision, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out a sequence of related water/wastewater engineering tasks such as the preparation of plans, designs, calculations, costs and bills of material in accordance with established codes, standards and drawings.
Your Key Responsibilities
Use knowledge of general concepts of relevant engineering elements including the analysis and design of water supply, distribution and treatment systems, sewerage networks, and wastewater treatment systems.
Perform basic calculations to analyze and design water/wastewater system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
Assist the team in preparing water/wastewater designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports, and gather information to support design decisions.
Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer.
Assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
Perform field work related to design site visits and construction observation activities as required.
Work in office minimum of 3 days per week.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to creatively apply technical knowledge.
Attention to detail, positive attitude, desire to support team success, और ability to function well in a fast‑paced environment.
Education and Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering with an emphasis on Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
EIT certification required.
Minimum 0‑2 years of related work experience.
Position will work in both a field and office setting. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Must be available to travel for out‑of‑town projects when needed.

Pay Range
Locations in MN, VT, and various CA, NY areas – Min Salary $67,800 – Max Salary $94,900.
Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
